For folks in that category, the total amount available in rebates could be as high as $6,500.

HERO Program

You then pay the loan back when you pay your county or city property taxes. Your loan isn’t actually tied to you – it’s tied to your property. That means that if someone buys the property before it’s paid off, the balance is transferred to the new owner.
